In 1982, Mr Srinath Vasistha was Introduced to Theater by his Uncle Shri GeebeekoteAnanth, Writer, Director, to the Theater Group "Antaranga", his first stage play was "MOULYAGALAU", was directed by Shri B.C.K.Iyengar.
Over the years Srinath has been associated with Popular theatre troups of Bangalore
Srinath has acted with the well-known and the best directors in the kannada theatre arena.

In the Year 1987-88, Srinath got his first break in the small screen, his first TV serial was Krishna Nee BeganeBaaro, directed and produced by Director shri H.M.K. Murthy, in his long career spanning over more than two and half decades he has completed 150 serials and has acted in more than 10000 episodes.
He was noticed by the famous actor, director, writer, shriT.N.Seetharam, he casted Srinath for his T.V.SerialT.P.Kailasam Short Stories.
He innate acting skills, spontaneity were noticed by popular directors who cast Srinath for their leading characters.
Dubbing Artist
As the saying goes, a powerful voice is the back bone of any actor, Srinath is blessed to have parents who have art as their passion, given which good voice is in his genes.
Vasistha's friends in the industry complemented, noticed him for his powerful and dominating base voice.
The national award winning director shri Girish Kasaravalli, choose Vasistha to lend his voice fir tge hero of his acclaimed film "KROURYA".
SihiKahiChandru produced & Directed a TV serial "CHIRASMARANE", where Vasistha dubbed for the lead role, Vasistha has dubbed for more than 30 films for many artists like AsishVidyarthy, Nazir and others, 100's of Documentaries and has made a mark for himself in the dubbing arena.
Writing is an inherent part of Vasistha's persona, he has been writing since 10 years.
Popular Actor, Director & Writer T.N.Seetharam offered Vasistha to write for his popular serial 'MUKTHA'.
He has also written for few mega serials "PARAMAPADA", "SILLY LALLY", "MALE BILLU", "MUTTINA THENE", "KASTURI" are few of them to name.
Vasistha's Direction debut was in the year 1998, he worked as an Associate Director for a tele film "SADDU VICHARANE NADEYUTTIDE", which was produced by Bangalore Dooradarshan.
In 1996 he worked as an episode director for the TV Serial, "SACHIN BANDA SACHIN", aired in Udaya TV.
His independent Direction ventures are, "NIGHUDA", "HASYA TARANGA", "MUSSANJE", "TIRUKANA KANASU", for different Television Channels.
Vasistha has conceptualized and Directed Special Episodes for Zee Kannada in 2007 on "SANKRANTHI",eve and "DEEPAVALI" comedy show for ETV kannada in 2006.
In 2009 Vasistha made his Debue as a Director for Big Screen, a full length Feature Film 'MANTHANA", was his dream project. This movie has a very strong subject of a person consuming Drugs and after effects of this, this movie was screen in several Colleges and have gained a great appreciation from media and public.
'SALILA", a children movie was directed in 2013, this was his second project, this movie has dealt with Environment, Water is very essential by all human beings, if River water is polluted how the people will be effected !!! This movie is being screened in Schools across the state and has gained a wonderful appreciation from children and the Educational institutions.

Vasistha being good orator with a wonderful comic timing sense, has ventured into stand-up comedy, He has given lot of Stand-up comedy shown in and around state and has been appreciated by media and public.
His Recent stand-up comedy performance were in Dubai, Abudabi where he performed successful shows and got wonderful appreciation from his fans across the borders.
From 2009 vasistha is closely associated with kannada sangha of United States of America and have performed shows and have got tremendous appreciation across the Globe.
Vasistha with his Friends had formed a troupe "Hasyaranjani", and have performed more than 500 full length comedy shows across the country and gained a great applause and appreciation from media and public.
Vasistha's first hit to Big screen was in 1976-77 he has an wonderful opportunity to act with great Icon of Kannada Film Industry, Dada SahebPhalke award winner Dr Raj Kumar, in his super hit film "NaaNinnaMareyalare",.
In the Year 1990 vasistha acted in a Children Movie "NakkalaRajakumari", Directed by SmtPremaKaranth.
